Cam-Lock Panel Construction

Each cam-lock panel consists of a strong perimeter framing system covered by durable metal interior and exterior skins. The panel is then injected with polyurethane (PUR) foam, creating a high-performance insulated panel structure.

The integrated cam and pin housing assemblies are installed within the panel edges. When the cam mechanism is engaged, it draws the connecting panels together under mechanical tension.

How the Cam-Lock System Works

Cam-lock panels use an internal mechanical locking mechanism to connect adjacent panels.

During installation, the panels are positioned together and the cam mechanism is activated using a suitable hex key or wrench. The cam rotates and pulls the connecting pin into the locking housing, drawing the panels tightly together.

This creates a secure and repeatable connection without requiring adhesive curing time, helping installers complete cold room assembly efficiently.

Proper joint sealing and installation are essential to achieve the required airtightness and thermal performance.
